Why should you choose Divitia Gratiae University?
„He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end”
Ecclesiastes 3:11
The Kingdom of God needs Christians ready to serve in diverse domains of their society. Responsible people in the right place at the right time can make a difference and contribute to the development of both society and the church of Jesus Christ.
The College of Theology and Education established in 1993 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova is now University Divitia Gratiae (UDG). A major motivation of many who studied or continue to study at our university is the opportunity to make a difference. In this institution, students are not only well-taught, their character is being molded, which motivates them in presenting Christian values to a confused world. The Bible is the guiding book of our institution, the book of life which leads and enlightens us as David wrote in the book of Psalms 119:105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Knowing the scriptures serves as an unchallenged condition for living a Christian life and for proclaiming God’s word to those who need divine salvation.
In the last 20 years of its activity, UDG has developed as a family in which East meets West and where the young generation from different nationalities and cultures share the goal of being part of God’s mission. Also, among UDG’s staff, we have local professors from Moldova as well as guest-teachers with a rich experience in their field of activity. We have a well-developed campus with classrooms, conference room, library, cafeteria, dormitories etc. providing students with a place which fosters knowledge.
Our university obtained international accreditation from the Euro-Asian Accreditation Association (EAAA) in 2001, allowing our students to continue their studies at different levels and also to be involved abroad. The studies within our university are based on the transferable credit system according to the Bologna process.
During these years, more than 1200 students from 15 countries including the Republic of Moldova have graduated from our university. The student body represents more than 35 different nationalities and ethnic groups. This is another advantage for our students, since they can assimilate the intercultural experience which is very necessary in our days. Our students have the possibility to communicate both in languages already known or that can be learned.
A specific advantage for our students is the fact that English is being taught throughout the year at a high level. The collaboratiion of native-speaking English professors from the USA and Great Britain contributes to the development of our students’ abilities in communication.
All students who have given their lives to Jesus Christ and understand God’s calling are more than welcome in our university. They have the opportunity to make an impact in other people’s lives and our doors are open. Use this time! You can be a part of our multinational family, united in Christ studying the scriptures, proclaiming the Gospel and influencing society both socio-economically and spiritually.
The times we live in are full with challenges, but with them come amazing opportunities to spread the gospel. Join us in exploiting these opportunities for God’s glory.
